Happy Presidents’ Weekend from Mammoth!

It is another glorious weekend here in Mammoth. Blue skies, spring conditions and the skiing is incredible.

On a sad note on February 8th we lost Dave McCoy, the founder of Mammoth Mountain.  He was such an inspiration. Here is the great article in The Sheet about him.   Dave would be the first to tell us to get out there and have fun so let’s go!

This weekend is the Unbound Series on Mammoth Mountain. Open to all ages and skill levels. Slalom, Giant Slalom and Halfpipe are featured this weekend.

Check out the all-new sundeck at Lincoln Bar at Canyon Lodge. This Saturday we are celebrating with drink specials, music and giveaways from Helly Hansen, Yeti, Red Bull and more. The Village Gondola will run until 6 PM to get you back to the Village after the lifts close.

Eagle Lodge has a new eatery. Fowl Language features hand-breaded chicken sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, salads and a kids menu. Sample menu is below.

If you are here on Tuesday come and check out our avalanche dogs at Paws On Patrol at McCoy’s in The Village. 6-7 PM. Come and meet the pups and their handlers who play a key role in Mountain safety.
