Mammoth Labor Day Weekend Update

This weekend we have all kinds of fun for whiskey and art lovers, athletes and fishermen/women!  Mammoth Rock N Rye is our annual whiskey festival.  For the art lovers there is Avenue Q the Musical at Edison Theater and the 50th annual Labor Day Arts Festival with something for everyone. Sat and Sun is the Fred Hall Fishing Derby and Saturday is Mono County Free Fishing Day!  For the athletes on Saturday there is the SEMBA Mammoth Point to Point 50 K Mountain Bike ride and on Sunday there is the Ezakimak a race from Main Lodge to the top of Mammoth Mountain. Race on foot, on bike or on e-bike!  That evening the Summit Sunset Party on the top of Mammoth Mountain is always fun.

I’m a little short on local photos this week as I went to LA to see the Rolling Stones.  I can’t believe they are in their 70s!  But a couple of new shots below.  Today was the first day I haven’t seen deer in two weeks. But we saw a big fat bear instead but I wasn’t fast enough with my phone so no photo of the bear. Included are McLeod Lake, bear claw marks marking its territory, the sunflower outside my condo with 30 buds! Seven of ten bucks we saw two days ago.

Here are my favorite new listings….

Condos

Chateau D’Oex #8 is a 3+2 light and bright end unit. Townhome so no one above or below. One common wall.  Views! Walking distance to the bike path and The Village.  Remodeled kitchen and master bath.  $520,000.

1490 Majestic Pines is a FIXER. 3+2.5 near Little Eagle. I am including it because I have had a few calls on it and feel it needs an explanation.  I think this would be a good deal if it were $599,000 rather than the $699,000 it is listed for.
