Embracing the Enchanting Summertime in Mammoth Lakes
I know I keep saying this, but summer really is my favorite time of year in Mammoth Lakes and the Eastern Sierra. This summer feels more special. I think that is because it feels like we fought for it. This past winter, the biggest on record, felt like it would never end… and it still hasn’t, at least on Mammoth Mountain. But there is always a bright side, and right now, the bright side is all the green lushness, all the wildflowers, the lakes that are overflowing with fish and water, and our blue skies. For me, this is as close to heaven as you can get on Earth.

In addition to the glorious conditions, there are so many things to do here. Between the organized events and the things you can dream up, the days just aren’t long enough. Not that you need any help, but here are some suggestions…

Mammoth Wine Weekend – Aug 18-19. 2:00-11:00 PM. Tastings, dinners, and events throughout the weekend. Check out the wineries that will be here.
Indulging in Cultural Delights: Mammoth Shakespeare Festival
It isn’t all about libations! We also have some tragedy…
