Canyon Lodge Real Estate
Of the three base lodges on Mammoth Mountain Canyon Lodge is by far the most popular. It can be reached by car, by the free shuttle or the free gondola from The Village. In July 2018 Alterra Mountain Company, the new owners of Mammoth Mountain, began a $25 million Canyon Lodge facelift. Here is an article titled Opening the Spigot in one of the local papers with details about the work at Canyon and elsewhere on the Mountain. Four chairlifts leave from Canyon and a couple of mountain bike trials end there. Currently the Lodge is only open during the winter ski-season but there are plans to add summer events and festivals.
